(A holiday message from CFMS President Wendy Collins)
As we head into the holiday season, I am feeling thankful for so many things. Of course, family comes to mind first. We are all happy and healthy. I am looking forward to slowing down and spending time with them during this winter break, eating good food, playing games and watching movies. Hopefully there will be some snow. It is so much fun and relaxing spending time outdoors.
I am thankful for the great team at CFMS. Everyone works hard to ensure the projects are completed and a high level of service is maintained. It takes team work to ensure projects are successfully completed. We work with great clients, as well as both design and construction teams. It is the people we work with that makes work so much more enjoyable.
As our office continues to work from home, I am thankful for the companionship of the family dog. He has not quite rasped the need to be quiet and not to bark while I am in a zoom meeting or on a telephone call. But he is always supportive and does not seem to mind when I natter away at myself.
I had hoped that the world would be in a different position this year than the last holiday season but it feels as though nothing has changed. I hope that everyone is able to take the time to find something to be thankful for, and to enjoy the upcoming holiday season. Wishing you and yours a very happy holidays and all the best in the New Year from everyone at CFMS.
Wendy Collins, P.Eng., CFMS President
