East Gwillimbury Health and Active Living Plaza
The East Gwillimbury Health and Active Living Plaza is a welcome addition, offering the town’s first aquatics centre, a new library, program spaces with teaching kitchen, gymnasium and indoor boardwalk. The design includes Net Zero and East Gwillimbury’s ‘Thinking Green’ standards.
HVAC systems installed include a hot water boiler plant, a glycol heating loop and a chilled water cooling plant complete with heat recovery system. The project includes 5 air handling units, 2 rooftop units and numerous VAV boxes, fan powered boxes, fan coil units, transfer / exhaust fans, unit heaters and entrance heaters. The building has full DDC control down to and including the individual spaces.
Electrical systems installed include electrical distribution, emergency generator and distribution, and low voltage lighting control system.
