Cornell (East Markham) CC&L - An Award Winning Project
Cornell (East Markham) Community Centre and Library had a good year so far. Not only did Cornell CC & L achieve LEED Silver Certification, but it was also the recipient of the Parks and Recreation Ontario 2014 PRO Award of Excellence in Design.
CFMS worked with Perkins + Will and the City of Markham on this project, and is pleased to be part of yet another highly successful project!
This multi-level 153,600-square-feet building includes a 8 lane, 25 meter lap pool, therapy pool, leisure pool, public resource library, rehearsal hall and triple gymnasium - making it a hub of community activity for Markham.
