Nipissing University's New Student Centre
Student Centre's seem to be a popular addition to university campuses these days. Just this past September two Student Centre's we are providing commissioning for opened up at York University and Trent University. Construction began in the fall of 2018 for Nipissing University's New Student Centre. The 31,452 square foot facility was designed by Mitchell Jensen Archtitects, and features an Atrium, Study Nooks, Restaurant and Nightclub, along with the usual offices and student gathering spaces you might expect in a Student Centre. Use of wood and stone is predominent, to blend into the natural landscape of the university's northern location of North Bay. Completion is expected in 2020.
