CFMS Favourite Project Series - Jurij Dziuba Edition

With my time at CFMS, I have worked on many projects. Many of them have been memorable, exciting, fun and challenging. When asked about my favourite project, the first one to pop to mind was the York University Bergeron Centre for Engineering Excellence. I think the initial reason is that it is a beautiful building architecturally – both outside and inside. Then after further thought, I was reminded of the work we completed for the project, and the team members we interacted with and everyone we worked with. It was a truly enjoyable project to work on as there was a clear end goal to provide a functional and operational building to York University.  I made some great contacts from the Owner’s team, Consultants team and Contractors team; I believe the projects where interaction, collaboration, and where end goals are evident are the most successful projects – both from a construction perspective and personally.  I always enjoy seeing photos of the building and going forward, I will remember how stunning it looks, but also the wonderful memories from the project.
