CFMS’ second ‘LEED CI’ certified project, involving the integration of SANDVIK’s new Mississauga Sales and Training Centre within the Meadowpine Development Corporation’s Flex Office Space at Building 1.
CFMS executed the following requirements of ‘Fundamental Commissioning’ (EAp1) and ‘Enhanced Commissioning’ (EAp2):
· Documented the project requirements and the ‘basis of design’ for the tenant’s energy-related systems
· Developed a commissioning plan
· Reviewed Contractor submittals
· Verified the installation and performance of the tenant’s energy consuming systems, including the HVAC VVT (variable volume / variable temperature) control system, lighting control (dimming) system, and the DHW system and associated ‘low consumption’ plumbing fixtures
· Reviewed the Contractor’s submitted O&M manuals for accuracy and completeness
· Verified that all training requirements were completed
· Issued a commissioning report and submittals required for certification
