Simcoe County District School Board
The Simcoe County District School Board has grown leaps and bounds over the past 20 years and the CFMS team has been an integral partner in helping over 130 projects reach substantial completion. Throughout the years, CFMS has worked on a broad array of projects for the Board, many of which include specialize systems and technical issues that CFMS staff manage effectively and efficiently.
As a supporter of new technologies and environmental initiatives, the Board has implemented a variety of new systems with regards to the construction process. For instance, they have utilized the termodeck system and a variety of geothermal systems. Since the CFMS team has such a deep understanding of the Board’s standards and requirements, supporting the new initiatives have been a smooth and efficient process.
An integral facet of CFMS’s work that the Board depends on is the well-executed coordination of start-up of equipment and control through the Build Systems Automation (BAS); a safeguard that ensures everything is functioning at optimal levels. As well, CFMS provides video training systems developed according to the Board’s requirements. The videos are instrumental in ensuring that training of the Board’s team is well executed and understood.
