CFMS Awarded York University's Neuroscience Laboratory and Research Building
CFMS is proud to announce we were awarded the commissioning contract for York University's new Neuroscience Laboratory and Reseach Building! Designed by HDR Architecture, it incorporates a mass-timber structure with a clean curtainwall glass exterior, following minimalist design cues seen in other new York U builds like the recent Second Student Centre (which CFMS also provided commissioning for).
The Neuroscience Laboratory and Research Building will have brand-new research spaces and offices, along with a variety of laboratories for fields including neuropsychology and kinesiology. The three level building will have a green roof, and is targeting LEED Silver Certification.
We can't wait to get started on this fast moving project, targeting January 2024 substantial performance, and add another amazing York University project to our portolio!
