Progress for Muskoka Lumber Community Centre

An exciting project CFMS is providing c ommissioning for is moving ahead - the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre in Bracebridge, Ontario.  The new 126,680 square foot facility will include a multi-sport field house (double sized gymnasium with track), a concession, outdoor playground, trails, open spaces, parking and an area retained for a future second arena, while replacing the existing 70 year old Memorial Arena and 111 year old Public Library in this new community hub.  Residents of Muskoka have long been looking forward to a new facility to consolodate services, accessible to all.  On December 22, 2021, Bracebridge Town Council approved awarding the tender for a General Contractor for the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre (MLCC) to Aquicon Construction Ltd., a key step in moving the project forward.  Construction is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2022, with completion in 2024.

We are looking forward to next steps with the team, which includes architects MJMA, and Colliers Project Leaders.

Caledon Fire Station 310

Progress is underway at Caledon Fire Station 310 scheduled to open in December 2025! This state-of-the-art 15,000 square foot facility being built for the Town of Caledon will feature three spacious apparatus bays, offices, training and education spaces, a crew dormitory, and more—designed to support the growing needs of emergency services in the community. It will be Caledon’s first net zero energy fire station.
