Scugog Memorial Public Library Achieves LEED Silver

This spring the Scugog Memorial Public Library was awarded LEED Silver Certification.  The project involved turning a 1980's building into a modern, accessible one that could meet today's standards for not only library programs, but also environmental sustainability.  Situated on the waterfront of Port Perry, the design endeavoured to capture and reflect the natural beauty around the libary.  The library also has the Kent Farndale Art Gallery, an accessible community meeting room, and a computer training centre, among other features which make the Scugog Memorial Library and important part of the community.

CFMS Consulting Inc. was pleased to provide the commissioning for this project, and even happier to know they achieved LEED Silver!
