Thunder Bay Art Gallery Wins Canadian Architect Award of Merit

This week Canadian Architect announced their award winners, and CFMS was excited to see a project we are providing commissioning for on the list:  Thunder Bay Art Gallery Waterfront Relocation!  Congrats to Patkau Architects (Vancouver) and Brook McIlroy (Thunder Bay/Toronto) on your award winning design!

The 38,000 sf building will overlook Sleeping Giant on Thunder Bay's waterfront, and feature Indigenous Art.  Exhibition spaces, classrooms, studios, storage vaults, event hall, community, cafe and gift shop are key elements of the design, promising it be both a tourist destination and a community hub.

CFMS is part of a talented team, and look forward to this project ramping up!  Read more about the Art Gallery here.
