Employee Pandemic Q&A

As we are in the process of updating our employee headshots, we thought we’d take this opportunity to give insight into how the CFMS Team is handling the pandemic. Kicking of the Q&A series is our CFMS President Wendy Collins:

Q: How have you been coping during the pandemic?

A: It has been hard not seeing family and friends.  Our children have missed a graduation each and our daughter her prom. But as a family we have found different ways to celebrate these and other milestones.  Our dog has been a constant source of comfort and a great distraction. Taking him for walks get us out of the house and helps us to keep active.

Q: Have you learned a new skill / taken up a new hobby during these times?

A: I enjoy knitting and over the years have completed many projects but have never really taken to crocheting.  The pandemic restrictions have given me time to learn different crochet stitches and complete my first throw for the family room.

Q: What do you miss most from pre-pandemic times?

A: I miss seeing the great CFMS staff and look forward to when we can collaborate in person, at the office, and resume the occasional CFMS social get together.  Zoom meetings are a good alternative, but not quite the same.

Stay tuned to see what the rest of the team has to say and get a glimpse of them in a mask – if you haven’t already seen us onsite somewhere, that is…
