Look Who is Turning 25 (Years Young That Is)

CFMS is celebrating 25 years this month!  A lot has changed in our 25 years of business, like the way we communicate and engage with our potential and existing clients.  The internet has certainly brought about a lot of changes from when we first started out.  Email communication is probably our primary source of communications, and our website is an essential part of our marketing.  Our employees and ‘CFMS Consulting Inc.’ itself all have LinkedIn accounts, and we’ve recently launched an Instagram account, soon to be followed up with a Facebook page.  I think most of you out there would also say email is also your primary means of communication, and are not without a website.  You are likely on at least one of LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook, if not all three, and more! platforms.

While there may be a lot said for the old days and the old ways of doing things, welcome to the year 2017, where cyberspace is a very real thing.  I must say, in looking at other companies’ social media platforms as we build our own, I do like what I see.  A website provides a 2 dimensional, informative picture of a company, but social media platforms seem to expand into a more colourful and personal world behind the corporate structure.

We hope as CFMS builds our social media presence, our audience enjoys a peek into all the interesting places and spaces we do our work.  It also gives our employees a chance to share their unique view of projects that they are working on, providing a more personal view to what would otherwise be just another photo of a building – be it a hospital, a school, a hotel, and so on.  I certainly know I am most interested in what’s IN a building, and WHO is behind a company!  The photo here is a good example of both:  engineers may not always be known for their sense of humour, but you will certainly find us here at CFMS have a sense of humour.

Be sure to follow our Instagram account cfmsconsultinginc and keep an eye out for a coming Facebook account!  Of course, there are still other ways to keep in touch, like good old fashioned phone calls, or better yet, in person!  We look forward to engaging with you regardless, as we celebrate 25 years of providing commissioning.
