CFMS Consulting Inc. Helps Build One of CanadaÂ’s Top Three Tallest Buildings

We are excited to be providing Commissioning services for what will be an exciting new addition to the skyline of Toronto –Aura Condominium located at College Park.  At a soaring 78 stories, Aura will be the tallest residential building in Canada, and one of the top three tallest buildings for Toronto, amid the CN Tower and First Canadian Place.

Developed by Canderel Stoneridge, and designed by Graziani + Corazza Architects, Aura is located in the heart of downtown core.  Aura is situated right next to an open 3 acre green space, otherwise known as College Park.  This 78 story complex boasts a direct underground link to over 180,000 square feet of some the finest retail in Toronto and CFMS is providing Commissioning for both the podium (190,000 square feet of retail space located at the bottom of the tower) and residential floors.

“It’s really exciting to be involved in a project that not only impacts Toronto’s skyline, but skylines internationally. It is an architecturally prestigious project that is garnering worldwide recognition!” says CFMS General Manager, Christopher Aaltonen. “But, we aren’t sure if all our CFMS employees are excited about Aura”, Chris jokingly remarks, “As the first question asked by one of our team members who will be involved in commissioning Aura asked, “What happens if the construction elevator breaks down when I am on the 73rd floor?” “I guess that is something we are hired to make sure won’t happen” adds Chris.
